This! … Is! … Kind of Surprising! Matt Lauer is rumored to be “at the top of the list” for replacements for Alex Trebek when he leaves Jeopardy!, according to “Page Six.” Trebek’s current contract employs him until 2016, when he’ll be 76; the current short list of possible successors reportedly also includes Anderson Cooper. Cooper or Lauer would both be fine or whatever, but … isn’t Ken Jennings the obvious choice here?
