Ashley Judd’s recovery from her bout with politics will begin with a big role in Divergent, Neil Burger’s adaptation of Veronica Roth’s best-selling dystopic novel, reports THR. Judd has been cast as the mother of star Shailene Woodley, who plays a character unable to fit into “a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities.” We guess it’s nice that Judd has some recent experience to draw on for the part.
