Comedy Central did the right thing today and picked up its critically-acclaimed series Nathan for You for a second season. Billed as a “docu-reality” series that follows comedian Nathan Fielder as he uses his business degree to advise struggling companies, Nathan for You is easily TV’s best new comedy, and it should get even better in its second season. Created by Fielder and Michael Koman (Eagleheart, Conan), Nathan For You wrapped its eight-episode first season last week. The network says Season 2 will debut in 2014 and consist of 10 episodes this time around. Hopefully, Comedy Central will allow Fielder to strap himself to the front of a plane to promote the show next season.
Comedian Anthony Jeselnik’s new show, The Jeselnik Offensive, was also renewed by Comedy Central today for a 10-episode second season that will debut this July.
