The L.A. Times reports that Richard Linklater and Robert Redford will be working together to adapt Bill Bryson’s acclaimed travel novel A Walk in the Woods. The book tells the story of Bryson walking the Appalachian Trail with an old friend. Linklater will direct, and Redford will star along with Nick Nolte. Redford, who has been developing the project since 2005, will also produce. This plus a role in the next Captain America movie: That Redford fella might really have a future in this business.
