Saturday Night Live’s Nasim Pedrad has been cast in John Mulaney’s upcoming still-untitled sitcom, The Hollywood Reporter writes. Mulaney, a former SNL writer, stars in the semi-autobiographical multi-camera show about a comedy writer who decides to sober up and get his life together. Pedrad, currently the most senior female cast member on SNL, will play one of his roommates, Jane, described in the script as “cute but weird.” Cute but weird: What every sitcom character is going for.
