There are plenty of reasons why comedians are named on the Time 100, but one has to be how they liven up the annual gala. (Remember Amy Poehler’s amazing speech from two years ago?) This year, Jimmy Kimmel stole the show with his drunken speech. How do we know it was drunken? Well, even if he didn’t start out drunk, the five drinks he chugged during it definitely sealed the deal. Jimmy Fallon acts as a perfect enabler. Hey, NBC and ABC, would you consider just merging the Jimmy shows and then airing the result on both networks at once? Nope? Fair enough.
