Leave it to gore guy Eli Roth to craft a seemingly fun scary movie that brings back fond memories of Drag Me to Hell mixed with Shark Night 3D and a dash of the Final Destination series. Even more fun: Roth doesn’t forget to cast himself as a lead. Natural disasters are Hot Right Now, so what happens when vacationing Americans (Hostel, much?) experience a literal shake-up? Turns out an earthquake isn’t even half of their nightmare.
