-NBC, CBS, and Fox announced their new fall sitcoms. Andy Samberg and Mike Schur’s Fox cop show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, is the most promising of the bunch. NBC unfortunately passed on SNL writer/stand-up John Mulaney’s pilot.
- Parks and Recreation got renewed for a sixth season, and NBC officially canceled most of its comedies (Go On, Whitney, 1600 Penn, Up All Night, and Guys with Kids). Community’s chances look good, much to the chagrin of Community fans.

-Rick Moranis is coming out with a new album, his first comedic venture in eight years.

-Phil Hartman’s comedy album is being made into an animated movie. A new album of old Andy Kaufman recordings is being released too.
-The Lonely Island is releasing a new album, and they put out an awesome new video to go with it.
-Writer Megan Amram got a book deal.
-We examined the third season of Happy Endings, the last four years of Community, the Office’s wrap party, and the current state of the sitcom.
-We looked at Jim Gaffigan’s new book about fatherhood, the end of Chicago’s Late Live Show, Paul Brittain’s time on SNL, Dave Chapelle’s weird Home Improvement spinoff, and Amazon’s comedy pilots currently in development.
-The IT Crowd is coming back for an extra-long finale episode.
-It turns out Steve Carell will be in next week’s Office finale after all.
