You’d think if Nick Offerman were your dad and Alison Brie your sister, you’d always be psyched. However, that is very much not the case in The Kings of Summer. It’s apparent in this exclusive clip, in which Joe Toy (Nick Robinson) ruins game night with his family and his dad’s new girlfriend. The film, which opens in select cities on May 31, follows three teenagers fed up with their adolescent homes, who decide to run away and build a house in the middle of the woods. Offerman probably doesn’t like having his son run away, but he probably appreciates that his building and woodworking skills have been passed down.
