The Hollywood Reporter writes that Anne Hathaway has signed on to star in and produce The Lifeboat, an adaptation of Charlotte Rogan’s novel of the same name. Hathaway will play a woman on trial for murder in 1914. During which she tells the story of how she survived the sinking of a fancy ocean liner. See, she ends up on a lifeboat that has too many people, meaning some folks got to go. Not sure if this makes her the Life of Pi boy or tiger. Which one got a super-short haircut to be in an Oscar-nominated movie? The tiger?
