Oh hello, nostalgia — 20th Century Fox is here to see you. The Hollywood Reporter writes that Fox is developing a movie based on the Choose Your Own Adventure book series. How exactly this will play out is hard to say, as it’s unclear how you’d have an audience completely determine the plot of a movie while it’s playing. The studio is hoping for a “crossplatform four-quadrant action-adventure franchise,” so the Internet will be involved somewhere. Or maybe 50 percent of the audience will just be free to choose to watch a movie that ends after fifteen minutes because they picked an option in which the galaxy explodes.
