It ruins the magic a little, but yes, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo were photographed yesterday without their Daft Punk helmets. The photo (posted by their Columbia labelmates the Knocks) was promptly deleted, but you can see a screenshot close-up here. They are playing Champagne beer pong. Nothing is cool anymore.
Update: a rep for the Knocks (who are on A&M/Octone, and not Columbia) clarifies that the band did not take the picture. They saw it elsewhere and re-posted.
