Sharknado, the straight-to-TV movie with the tagline reading “Enough said!” apparently doesn’t feel the need to explain its madness. That’s fine — we get it: It’s a tornado with a bunch of sharks in it. But how did the sharks get there? And how are Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, and a bunch of their friends going to stop these flying sharks from terrorizing the city? This trailer implies chainsaws, but you’ll have to see for yourself. Here are its best moments, but don’t forget to watch (DVR is your friend!) this Thursday at 9 p.m. on SyFy.
Here is the crew of sharknado chasers (that’s like tornado chasers, but for when the tornado is full of sharks) proudly marching to fight the tornado(???) with a wheelbarrow of weapons. Check out that wrench! Good luck with that.
What do they plan to do with those tools? Well, apparently Steven Sanders (Ian Ziering, for those unfamiliar with the Peach Pit) is going to grab a chainsaw and throw himself into the shark’s mouth.
“How do you make a shark scarier?”
“I don’t know. Make it fly?”
Even Hollywood is just giving up.
