Eric Johnson and Paul Tamasy, the Oscar-nominated screenwriters behind The Fighter, have purchased the rights to an upcoming book about the Boston Marathon bombing. Boston Strong will follow “the city’s reaction … and the hunt for the siblings suspecting of carrying out the bombings.” The book, by true crime author Casey Sherman and Boston Herald journalist Dave Wedge, is set for release next year, so maybe the film won’t hit theaters uncomfortably soon after the event itself. One fun fact on your way out, though: Tamasy also wrote Air Bud.
