Your television has a couple of big summer premieres in store for you this week. On Tuesday, The CW network will premiere the new season of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, making this the first time comedy fans have cared about anything on The CW. It’s the first new episode of the show since it went off the air in 2007, and regulars Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, and Wayne Brady will be back, joined by new host Aisha Tyler.
Sunday night, Fox will be giving a sneak peek at its new Adult Swim-esque late night animated comedy block, Fox ADHD, with the premieres of Axe Cop and Dino Stamatopoulos’s High School U.S.A. in advance of their official launches next Saturday. In addition to that, The Colbert Report and The Daily Show (still with fill-in host John Oliver) return from hiatus tomorrow, Kumail Nanjiani and Wanda Sykes have standup special premieres, and the new seasons of Comedy Bang Bang, The Jeselnik Offensive, Futurama, Wilfred, The Venture Bros., and Drunk History rage on. It’s a mildly exciting week for summer TV!
