The once-reclusive D’Angelo has canceled five shows in the past week, and now his promoters admit that an unnamed “medical emergency” is what kept him off-stage. He was reportedly hospitalized; “it’s serious, but he’ll be okay,” explained a House of Blues executive. Get well soon, D’Angelo.
