IFC announced today that Scott Aukerman is set to embark on a Comedy Bang Bang tour with Paul F. Tompkins as his special guest and sketch group The Birthday Boys as his opening act. Other guests will also be appearing. The multi-city, two-week tour, called Comedy Bang! Bang! LIVE, kicks off in LA on September 28th and hits tons of big cities after that. The tour is in promotion of the back half of Comedy Bang Bang’s current season, which kicks off in October along with IFC’s new sketch show from The Birthday Boys. A portion of each show from the tour will be recorded and released as a podcast, available for purchase individually or in bulk via a subscription via Earwolf’s store.
