Based on the first book of short stories by James Franco, the movie stars Franco as a football coach who takes a too-romantic interest in teenage babysitter Emma Roberts; in other intertwined stories, we meet troubled kids Teddy (Jack Kilmer, whose father, Val, also makes a cameo) and Fred (Nat Wolff), who drives into a wall on purpose in the film’s first scene.
