We told you that mermaids were hot, but we forgot to mention that they are also funny. That is, according to Sex and the City writer Jenny Bicks, whose “mermaid comedy” just got a pilot commitment from NBC. How does this sound: ” … a beached mermaid in search of adventure … winds up working in a bar/attraction in Miami with an eclectic group of people as lost as she is.” Sounds like this bar/attraction better have a indoor water tank. (Or some sort of magical element.)
