Before his untimely death earlier this summer, Cory Monteith had wrapped two movies, McCanick and All the Wrong Reasons. In the former he plays Simon Weeks, a drug-addicted criminal who was just released from jail. The film stars David Morse as the titular character, a narcotics detective with a secret that Weeks has knowledge of. McCanick, as well as All the Wrong Reasons, is scheduled to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
