The legendary Billy Crystal stopped by The Daily Show last night to tell some charming, too-explicit-for-cable-TV stories about his early days in standup, the eccentric act of Lenny Schultz, and the best advice he got as a young comic. It’s been a good week for Jon Stewart to embrace his inner comedy nerd, as he’s such a big fan of Crystals’s that he can quote his old bits back to him. Crystal was there to promote his book Still Foolin’ Em, and explains that he recorded the audio version in front of a live audience in homage to the old comedy albums that he listened as a kid.
