NBC Considers Canceling or Revamping ‘Last Call with Carson Daly’

With NBC set to install Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers as the new hosts of The Tonight Show and Late Night, respectively, in February, the network is also mulling over changes to its 1:35am show, Last Call with Carson Daly. NBC renewed the series for another season in April, but TV Guide reports that employees of the show have been instructed not to go to work, even though production on the new season should have already begun. Started in 2002 as a traditional late night talk show, Last Call transitioned to a documentary format shot on location in 2009. With more changes allegedly in store for the show, could another shift in NBC’s late night lineup be on the horizon?
