‘South Park’s Season Premiere Will Take on the NSA

South Park is set to kick off its 17th season tomorrow night, and Comedy Central announced today the storyline for the premiere. Called “Let Go, Let Gov,” here’s the plot description:

Cartman wants to hold the government accountable for secretly monitoring all of his personal information. When Cartman manages to get himself behind the doors of the NSA, he doesn’t like what he finds in his personal file. He thinks it’s time he told everyone the truth. Meanwhile, Butters finds someone new to listen to his prayers.

As previously announced, Saturday Night Live’s Bill Hader will be joining South Park’s writing staff full-time this year. Season 17 of the show will consist of one uninterrupted chunk of 10 episodes, as opposed to the two chunks of 7 episodes that have made up the past several seasons.
