Standup Taylor Williamson Is In the Finale of ‘America’s Got Talent’ Tonight

Taylor Williamson will be competing in the finals of America’s Got Talent tonight on NBC, where he stands to win a million dollar prize. The 26-year-old LA-based standup has performed three sets to make it to the finale of the talent show, where he will compete against singers, a magician, and, apparently, a dancer/mime for the prize.

In the past, comedians have done fairly well on AGT. Two acts made it to the final 10 – season one’s comedic/juggling duo Jon & Owen and season four’s 79-year-old standup Grandme Lee – while standup Tom Cotter came in second overall last year. And, if you count this sort of thing, ventriloquist Terry Fator won the whole thing back in season two (and went on to sign $100 million contract at The Mirage in Las Vegas).
