Both The Simpsons and Homeland are premiering in succession on Sunday night (8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., respectively), and it appears the two shows have joined promotional forces against the Breaking Bad finale. Deadline writes that The Simpsons season premiere, titled “Homerland,” “centers on Lisa enlisting the service of a jumpy FBI agent to discover why Homer seems to have ‘turned’ since coming back from a nuclear power plant operating convention.” Voicing the Carrie Mathison character is SNL alum Kristen Wiig, who, fingers crossed, we’ll get to hear imitate that infamous ugly cry.
