The fall TV season doesn’t kick off for two more weeks, but ABC has gone and uploaded three of their new comedies to Hulu early so that you can take an early look. The first episodes of Trophy Wife, The Goldbergs, and Back in the Game are up now, while ABC’s fourth new fall comedy, Rebel Wilson’s Super Fun Night, is the only one that hasn’t made viewable.
Trophy Wife stars Malin Åkerman as an ex-party girl who falls in love with and marries a guy (Bradley Whitford), only to find out she has to deal with his kids and ex-wives (Marcia Gay Harden, Michaela Watkins). The Goldbergs is an ‘80s-set comedy narrated by Patton Oswalt that stars Jeff Garlin and Wendi McLendon-Covey as the parents and George Segal as the grandpa. Finally, Back in the Game is about a grownup softball star (Maggie Lawson), who, with the help of her dad (James Caan), coaches her son’s Little League team made up of misfits. The first two shows premiere September 24th while the latter starts airing September 25th, in case you want to wait to watch them on regular old TV instead of doing the Hulu thing.
