Happy Endings star Adam Pally is working on a new show, behind the camera this time. THR reports that Pally is producing a new untitled comedy created by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, a writing team who have been working on How I Met Your Mother since 2010. The single-camera show follows a pair of friends who become rich after developing a successful mobile app.
Pally, who was added to the cast of Fox’s The Mindy Project this season in the wake of Happy Endings’ cancelation, currently has no plans to star in the potential series. Before landing their first sitcom jobs, Pally, Gregor, and Mand came up together at UCB NY where they worked together as the three-person sketch group Chubby Skinny Kids.
