Despite hope that it might return mid-season, Deadline reports that ABC has re-canceled (or un-uncanceled, if you will) the Dana Delany-led Body of Proof. “Sorry to disappoint some, but #bodyofproof will not be resurrected. May she rest in peace. Time for new adventures!,” Delany tweeted, using all the best undead references. ABC still has the option to reorder the show for this summer or next fall, which seems unlikely until you consider that the old rules don’t matter anymore and TV is the Wild West once again.
