Jimmy Fallon is preparing to take over The Tonight Show. So he might as well start from the top, with the theme song. And there’s no better man for the job than Fallon’s former SNL castmate and expert comedic singer Will Forte. With a little help from the Roots, Forte offers what would absolutely be the best and least accurate theme song on late-night TV. Fallon passed when Forte wrote him a Late Night theme song, but it’s probably not worth risking it this time, unless he wants to end up like the last guy who didn’t have Forte sing his theme song when he took over The Tonight Show.
