Supertickets to Go on Sale for Early ‘Anchorman 2’ Screenings

Paramount Studios will be selling “supertickets” that get fans in to see the long-awaited Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues two days before it opens on Dec. 20. Tickets will be available on Nov. 26, though prices haven’t been announced yet. More information on the deal, which is partnership with AMC Theaters and Fandango, is on the film’s official site, along with a Ron Burgundy-themed game of “Pants or No Pants” amongst other games.

The studio did a similar promotion for World War Z back in June; for $50, a superticket got you “an early 3D screening of the pic, one HD digital copy, one pair of World War Z custom RealD 3D glasses, a full-size limited-edition movie poster and a small popcorn.” There’s already plenty of swag related to the Anchorman sequel that could conceivably be included in the ticket, such as Ron Burgundy’s autobiography, Ben & Jerry’s special Scotchy Scotch Scotch ice cream, or even Adam McKay’s suggested alternate joke version. Hell, maybe they’ll even throw in a Dodge Durango.
