Warner Bros. is developing a Gilligan’s Island movie, starring and co-written by Josh Gad, Deadline reports. Did Land of the Lost teach us nothing, America? Gad will write the script with fellow 1600 Penn writers Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez, though it’s not clear yet if Gad is onboard to play Gilligan, or to play the Skipper, or the Professor maybe — or perhaps it’ll be a gender-swapped Gilligan, and he’ll play the dude version of Marianne. (He just doesn’t seem like a he-Ginger.)
