Rob Corddry and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are set to star in the upcoming HBO dramedy pilot Ballers, which will be executive produced by Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, and Steve Levinson. Corddry will play “former all-pro running back Spencer’s (Johnson) boss, a financial advisor who tries really hard to fit in and who is confident but clueless at interpreting social clues.” Thankfully Ballers won’t conflict with Corddry’s work on his show Children’s Hospital, but it will conflict with the upcoming Kevin Hart/LeBron James movie Ballers in Google search results everywhere.
