We live in a world that inches ever-nearer to the existence of a Twitter television show. Lionsgate TV announced today that the company has acquired the rights to the book Hatching Twitter: A True Story of Money, Power, Friendship, and Betrayal, by Nick Bilton. (The book was excerpted in the Times in October, if you’re looking for a sample portion.) The story is indeed dramatic, if you like white dudes fighting about money, which apparently everyone does. Look around! Half of TV is basically white guys trying to get richer than each other.
