Louis C.K.’s First Film Goes on Sale Wednesday

Earlier this month, Louis C.K. revealed on The Tonight Show that he will be releasing his first movie, Tomorrow Night. He shot the film independently in 1998 using his own money (and money he borrowed from Chris Rock and Jon Stewart). It features young versions of Steve Carell, Amy Poehler, and Conan O’Brien. Last night on Letterman, he announced that he will be selling it at LouisCK.net, starting on Wednesday at noon. It’s about a persnickety guy who runs a photo store who at night goes home and sits in a bowl of ice cream. As C.K. emphatically points out, “It’s not for everybody.” Below, watch him talk about the movie and how he doesn’t want to be much more famous. It appears the movie will help with the latter.
