Showbiz 411 reports Adam Driver is joining the cast of Martin Scorsese’s next film, Silence. Starring Andrew Garfield and Ken Watanabe, the film tells the story of a Portuguese missionary who is persecuted in seventeenth-century Japan. Scorsese says the plan is for the film to shoot next summer. It’s pretty incredible that in the short time since Girls premiered, Driver has worked with Steven Spielberg, Noam Baumbach, the Coen brothers, and now Scorsese.
