Get ready for what is probably the first cookbook based on a sketch comedy show. Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein have signed a deal to write a Portlandia cookbook, Publishers Marketplace reports. Aptly titled The Portlandia Cookbook, it’ll feature 50 recipes that are included in storylines in the show as well as incorporating the IFC sketch show’s characters, some stories, and some sidebars. The cookbook is set for a spring 2015 release, while Portlandia is due to return for its fourth season on February 27th. This is the second Portlandia book following 2012’s Portlandia: A Guide for Visitors, written by Armisen and Brownstein. IFC renewed the show for a fourth and fifth season last year.
