No doubt much of the noise from this year’s South by Southwest Film Festival will be about the Veronica Mars movie, set to make its world premiere at the Austin fest in early March. (Prepare by boning up on the TV series — it was just added to Amazon Instant Prime today.) But the just-announced SXSW lineup also features a few other films of note. Alongside Rob Thomas’s crowd-funded flick is Chef (starring Jon Favreau as “a chef who loses his job and launches a food truck”), Doc of the Dead (Alexandre O. Philippe’s “definitive zombie culture documentary”), and the much-anticipated Neil deGrasse Tyson adaptation of Carl Sagan’s 1980 PBS series Cosmos.
