Channing Tatum’s writing space apparently involves a fedora and a bust of Matthew McConaughey. (Just like ours.) According to a Facebook post, he’s writing the Magic Mike sequel, “a road trip movie and essentially the movie that everyone thought the first one was going to be,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in June. Maybe that’s because he didn’t actually write the first one, Reid Carolin did — although it was loosely based on Channing’s own experiences as a Tampa stripper. Perhaps Carolin’s busy adapting Magic Mike into a musical while Tatum takes a stab at the sequel’s first draft. Either way, we just want to know where we can buy our own McConaughey bust.
