Former Weeds star Mary-Louise Parker is getting ready to return to TV. She’s signed on to play the lead role in the NBC comedy pilot Feed Me, Deadline reports. The single-camera comedy follows a dysfunctional family running a restaurant, with them fiercely protecting their daughter after her husband has an affair. The pilot was written by Sally Robinson, who recently scripted the TV remake of Steel Magnolias. Mary-Louise Parker will also serve as a producer on the pilot, which, if it’s picked up, will be her first regular TV role since Weeds ended its seven-year run in 2012.
