British comedian Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, The World’s End) is taking his first regular job on a US TV show. Frost has joined the cast of the Fox sitcom pilot Sober Companion, Variety reports. Justin Long plays the show’s other lead role.
Sober Companion follows an alcoholic attorney (Frost) who, after an courtroom accident, is assigned an upbeat, eccentric sober companion (Long) to keep him from drinking. David S. Rosenthal and Jennie Snyder Urman (90210) created the show, which also features Pete Davidson and Ally Maki in supporting roles.
