If you’re into TBS reruns, you might know that H. Jon Benjamin popped up on Sex and the City during the show’s first season, but Benjamin tells VH1 that he was booked to appear again, as Bill Kelley. Remember him? The politician — eventually played by Mad Men’s John Slattery — whom Carrie dates who turns out to be into … golden showers. Benjamin claims: “I had hair and they made me bald … [Darren Star] looks at me and goes, ‘Who is this guy?” The part was recast. But forever praise TBS: “That was my best role ever,” says Benjamin. “I got paid in residuals for the part even though I didn’t play it.”
