According to THR, David Caspe has landed yet another pilot order, this time on Comedy Central. Caspe has reunited with Happy Endings alums Matthew and Daniel Libman for a single-cam pilot called Duty starring Gil Ozeri, who most recently appeared on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. According to the report, Duty follows “Kyle, a former football star who loses everything and is forced to start anew by moving back to his hometown and taking a job on the local police force opposite his childhood best friend, Lonnie (Ozeri).” Mike O’Gorman (The Awesomes, Ugly Americans) will play Kyle while newcomer Laura Steinel will play Kyle’s former flame Jamie. The Libman brothers – who have also written for Metalocalypse and Robot Chicken – will write the pilot and also serve as co-executive producers. As for Caspe, Duty makes his third pilot order this season following Cuz-Bros for CBS and Marry Me for NBC.
