Time magazine unveiled its new list of the world’s 100 most influential people, which includes both Late Night host Seth Meyers as well as Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. Meyers’s longtime SNL collaborator Amy Poehler was tasked with writing his profile and called him “the best listener on television,” while Judd Apatow wrote Key and Peele’s profile titled “The New Faces of Funny.” From Apatow’s writeup, where he references his upcoming film project with the duo:
“We are writing a screenplay together, and I hope one day we make a movie. But regardless, every time I leave a meeting with them, I feel like I have been a part of something very special. It is comedy and love dancing together, and it is the best of the human race. (I think I went too far — but they are funny.)”
