Spike has green-lit a six-hour miniseries about King Tutankhamun, the network announced today. This will mark Spike’s first scripted programming in almost a decade, and the pumped-up biopic is supposed to film this fall and is scheduled to to air in 2015. Tut — yes — comes from the same production company that brought us The Kennedys and Pillars of Earth, but there’s no cast, writer, or director attached just yet.
