Deadline reports that legendary This Is Spinal Tap performer Michael McKean has joined the cast of the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul centered on Bob Odenkirk’s criminal lawyer character Saul Goodman. McKean will play a new character named Dr. Thurber, “a brilliant attorney who is now restricted by an unusual affliction.” News of McKean’s casting follows that of Breaking Bad alum Jonathan Banks reprising his role as Saul’s private investigator Mike Ehrmantraut. The prequel is currently set to debut this November.
