Prior to the start of the fourth and final season of Adult Swim’s animated comedy The Boondocks, creator Aaron McGruder parted ways with the show and what’s resulted has been an odd last season for a show that we dubbed its “gas leak year” in a feature a couple weeks back. That season comes to a close this week, with The Boondocks’ series finale set to air tonight on Adult Swim. Elsewhere in the world of television comedy this week, Wilfred will air the season premiere of its third and final season on Wednesday, Melissa McCarthy is making the rounds to promote her new movie Tammy, and Nathan Fielder is returning to Jimmy Kimmel Live a week ahead of the eagerly-awaited season two premiere of Nathan For You.
