Grimes originally wrote “Go” for Rihanna, but she turned it down. Though we’re sure the Rihanna version would’ve been great, we’re happy with how weird and disjointed this version got to be. Speaking of weird and disjointed, Grimes released a video for the song and it’s very specifically strange. It can only really be described as what a pop R&B music video looks like in Grimes’s brain. It’s like if ‘90s Hype Williams directed an episode of Game of Thrones, in which Daenerys tries to dance for the first time.
