Despite the fact that it’s made North Korea very angry, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s newest film The Interview has been given a new release date. Rogen announced on Twitter today that The Interview will be released in theaters this Christmas; the film was originally slated for a release in October but was pushed back by Sony. “The combination of Seth, Evan, and James [Franco] is pure comedic magic,” said Sony exec Rory Bruer. “In our early screenings of The Interview, we’ve seen that they’ve delivered yet again, and we’re thrilled to be making the move to Christmas – one of the most important moviegoing days of the year and the perfect date to show off their brand of comedy.”
