Today, Showtime released a new, much more plot-heavy trailer for Homeland’s upcoming fourth season. Some of the things we learned: The CIA is in damage-control mode after a drone strike kills a bunch of civilians in Pakistan; House of Cards’ Corey Stoll (the Pakistan CIA station chief) may not be all that he appears; Saul and Carrie are pals again; and Carrie has conveniently maneuvered herself into the center of the action in Islamabad, and as far away as possible from her mothering duties of baby Brody Jr. You don’t expect her to save the world and be a decent human being at the same time, do you?
