Sarah Silverman Is Developing a Broadway Musical Adaptation of Her Memoir ‘The Bedwetter’

Sarah Silverman is bringing her memories of wetting the bed to Broadway. According to Broadway World, Silverman revealed during her interview on today’s Howard Stern Show that she’s currently working on a musical version of her 2010 memoir The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee. The production will feature music by Cry-Baby’s Adam Schlesinger, who has also composed music for The Dana Carvey Show, Saturday Night Live, and Crank Yankers. Silverman will not star in the show, but when Stern asked whether there would be “actual bedwetting” she said: “There won’t be actual urine coming out of the urethra, but yes. Great question, Howard – that is why you are the best.”

In other Silverman news, her Emmy-winning HBO special We Are Miracles is now available to purchase via Sub Pop Mega Mart, iTunes, and Amazon.
